With 15 years of experience specializing in accounting and assurance, mergers and acquisitions, family businesses and succession planning, Patrick towers with experience in construction and fabrication, collection agencies, professionals, real estate and high net worth individuals.

A graduate of The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Patrick stands prominently as both IT partner and manager of administration for Givens LLP while serving as director with Nexia Canada and as a member of Nexia Canada’s audit and assurance committee. He proudly holds the designations of Chartered Accountant and Certified General Accountant with The Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta, and Chartered Accountant with The Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

True to his heart as an avid Green Bay Packers fan – motivated by the setting and seeing of goals moving forward, Patrick has served as Treasurer for the Boys and Girls Club of Edmonton; was a member of the transition committee to help them merge successfully with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton; and then served as both Director at Large and as a member of the finance committee for Boys and Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area. Inspired by the pledge to simply make things better – a sentiment shared by everyone at Givens LLP – Patrick is devoted to the well being of all – be it clients, his family, or simply those in need of a helping hand, a kind word or sound advice.
